Built using the same 40t Low Resin Carbon as the Hi-‘S’ Carp rods there has been no compromise with this Marker rod and the rod will not appreciably soften even with heavy use. The benefit of the ultra-high modulus carbon is the transmission of the slightest tremors caused by variations in the bottom down the blank and the stiffer tip drastically reduces the bumping effect which bounces the lead along the bottom as opposed to dragging it across every contour.
